Time Needed: 15 minutes.

Candle Making

  1. Decide on the Decoration Material

Choose the decoration material you want to use – beads, pearls, shells, buttons, etc. and add it to the base of the empty glass container.

  2. Add Water

Fill the glass container with the beads or pearls with water. Leave some room in the container on the top. Add water color – as per choice. You can also choose to keep the look of plain water.

  3. Make a layer of Oil

Add a thick layer of oil on the top. As oil is lighter than water, it will automatically float on the top and form a layer.

  4. Make the lighting mechanism

Take a piece of cotton to form a wick. Take a piece of the plastic sheet (Size of the Container). Pass the wick from the center of the plastic sheet. Place this plastic sheet with the wick at the center of the container (as shown in the video). And then wait for a few seconds for the wick to absorb the oil.

  5. Candle is ready for lighting

Light the candle with a matchstick and watch how beautiful it looks. You can make such water candles in any shape and design.
