Recently Marvel’s new movie Eternals releases in India on November 5 (Friday), day after Diwali. So I thought of working on one of the DIY craft idea from the movie. Let’s see how to make Celestials Mask.
How to make Celestials Mask from Marvel’s Eternals with cardboard
Materials Required:
- Cardboard
- Cello tape
- Hot glue gun
- LEDs, wires, switch, battery
- Flexible cardboard
- Tissue paper
- Fevicol
- Acrylic paint
- Paint brushes
- Yellow cellophane paper
Follow these simple DIY steps to make Celestials Mask:
Time needed: 30 minutes.
Celestials Mask
- Sides of Mask:
First, cut a cardboard piece of your head size. Make a slot as shown. Fold the slot and paste. Make another same piece in similar way.
- Face:
Next, take another two cardboard pieces as shown. In the bigger piece, make six holes. Then, paste the smaller piece on top of the face.
- LEDs:
Now, make a small paper cone. Take LED and two wires. Connect the wires with LED. Insert it in cone. Then, insert the cone in the hole of the face. Repeat this step five times more.
- Connection:
After that, secure all the wires from backside with cello tape. For connection, join all six red wires together and all yellow wires.
- Mask:
Now, take the face and sides of the mask. Paste them together to form a mask shape. Add switch and battery on inner side of mask.
- Head:
Then, cover the head with flexible cardboard piece.
- Painting:
Next, cover the entire mask with tissue paper and fevicol solution. Then, start painting the mask red. give details like black patches.
- Eyes:
After that, cut small pieces from yellow cellophane paper. Crush the pieces and fit them in all holes.
- Celestials Mask:
Yay! your Celestials Mask is ready to wear.
