How to make cardboard Headphones which really works
Materials Required:
- Cardboard
- Hairband
- Hot glue gun
- Screw and washer
- Speakers
- Wire
- 3.5 mm Jack
- Cello tape
- Tissue paper
- Fevicol
- Acrylic Paints
- Paint brushes
- Foam
Follow these simple DIY steps to make cardboard headphones:
Time needed: 40 minutes.
Cardboard Headphone
- Base:
First, take a piece of cardboard. Make holes on it as shown. Then, make another piece in similar way.
- Wearing Mechanism:
Next, take a hairband and make two holes on both ends. Match holes of hairband and base and then paste it. Paste another paste on other side. secure it with screw. Repeat step for other ear also.
- Working mechanism:
Now, connect speakers with wire and connect jack on other end. Paste the speakers on outside of the base.
- Cover:
After that, take same sized cardboard piece and a strip of cardboard. Paste the strip on cardboard piece. Paste it on both the ears. Then, take a strip of cardboard of hairband thickness. Paste it on it.
- Painting:
Now, first cover the headphone with fevicol solution and tissue paper. Then, start painting it.
- Final touches:
Next, cut two foam pieces. Paste them on inner side of the ears of the headphone.
- Detailing:
At last, you can give some detailing to the headphone like I have added letter ‘S’ on both ears.
- Headphone:
Yay! finally your own headphone which really works is ready.
