It’s blazing hot these days so it is difficult to step out of house due to scorching heat which leads to sweating even on face. So I thought of a solution to get some relief from heat and sweat. Presenting my Summer cap with Fan. This is yet another simple and easy cardboard craft idea and is best for summers. The process to make this summer cap with fan is very simple and it really works. How to make Cap with Fan using Cardboard
Materials Required:
- Cardboard
- Fevicol
- Acrylic paint
- Paint brush
- Motor
- Mechanics Kit
- Plastic Fan
- 2 Battery
Follow these simple DIY steps to make Summer Cap with Fan:
Time needed: 15 minutes.
Cap with Fan
- Base of Cap
Cut a cardboard pcs in shape of cap flap and put marks on it as shown below. Fold it upwards.
- Cap strap
Cut another long pcs of flexible cardboard and paste it on folded edge so that it wraps around the head easily.
- Painting
Paint the cap in desired colours and attach a velcro at both ends for wearing it.
- Mechanics for fan
Use mechanics parts like screws, long metal pcs to attach to the cap front. The pcs needs to be fixed in such a manner that those are movable. Check the video to understand better. Take a motor and attach it to the cap as shown below.
- Fan attachment
Attach the fan to the motor and use wires to connect to the battery holder. Battery holder needs to be fixed at the side of the cap.
- Working Fan
Once everything is connected. Also put a button to switch on/off the fan.
- Cap with fan is ready
