Sound is delivered through an amplifier and two or more integrated loudspeakers. A Boombox is a device typically capable of receiving radio stations and playing recorded music or one can connect it with Bluetooth and use it as speaker to produce sounds. Today I have made one such Bluetooth Boombox speaker at home for myself as I am able to connect it with my laptop and enjoy amplified sound.
How to Make Bluetooth Boombox Speaker at Home
Material Required:
- Old Speaker
- Bluetooth Amplifier Board
- Cardboard
- Soldiering Gun
- Acrylic Paint
- Black net cloth
Follow these simple DIY steps to make Bluetooth Boombox Speaker:
DIY Bluetooth Boombox Speaker
- Amplifier Board/ Circuit
Take a Bluetooth amplifier circuit. You can buy the board from Amazon. It has all the components like USB port, port to connect speakers, Antennae, Bluetooth enabled etc.
- Connecting Bluetooth board
Take an old waste speaker else you can also buy this one on Amazon. Attach Bluetooth amplifier on the speaker using shouldering gun. But be cautious and seek your parents help to soldier it.
- Creating Speaker Frame
Take a cardboard roll and cut a rectangular frame from it. Insert the speaker in the cavity of the roll.
- Speaker Cloth
Cut another rectangular cardboard frame and paste a black net cloth to give the appearance of the speaker.
- Finishing the speaker
Cut 2 cardboard circles and paste it at both the ends to give finishing. Also wrap 1-2 layers of cardboard on the sides for look. Also paste 2 small cardboard pieces to paste on the base so make the speaker stable.
- Painting Time
Paint the speaker in your desired colours and your very own bluetooth boombox speaker is ready to use with your phone, laptop or tablet.
