With Ganesh Chaturthi around the corner, I wanted to make something special for Ganpati Bappa so thought of making this eco-friendly Ganesh Makhar in Lotus Shape. I have made this beautiful Ganpati Makhar (Also known as Aasan or Singhasan) with Cardboard and paper. This very easy to make with all the materials available easily. Now, let’s start making our Ganesh Makhar Aasan.
How to make Ganesh Makhar in Lotus Shape
Material Required:
- Cardboard
- Coloured Papers
- Fevicol
- Cardboard roll
Follow these simple DIY steps to make Ganesh Makhar Aasan in Lotus Shape :
Time needed: 20 minutes.
Ganesh Makhar Aasan
- Base of the Aasan:
Take a cardboard. Cut out a piece of it in circle shape. Then place idol of Ganesh Ji on it and trace it’s size.
- Lotus petals:
Take a small square piece of paper. Make cone like shape from it and paste the end with help of fevicol. Repeat the same step and make more petals to cover the cardboard piece.
- Base for idol:
Take a small rectangle cardboard piece and cover it with paper. Paste it in the center of the base of the Aasan.
- Stand of Aasan:
Now, take a cardboard roll and cover it with paper. Paste it beneath the base of the Aasan to give it a stand like structure.
- Lotus leaves:
Then, take green coloured paper and make leaf like shape on it. Cut it out. Repeat the step and make more leaves to cover the entire base.
- Ganesh Makhar is ready:
