On 2nd October we all celebrate Gandhi Jayanti. Happy Birthday Mahatma Gandhi Ji. Lets make it a little unique this year. Why not make कागज़ के गांधीजी ? So, in today we are going to make Gandhi Ji Model with Paper. This is simple and easy DIY Paper Craft which can easily be made at home. Now, without a further due let’s see how to make this model.
How to make Gandhi Ji Model with Paper
Materials Required:
- Papers
- Scissors
- Fevicol
- Black marker
- Ice cream sticks
- Small piece of thermocol
Follow these simple DIY steps to make Gandhi Ji Model with Paper:
Time needed: 25 minutes.
Gandhi Ji Model
- Model pieces:
First, take white paper. Draw two circles, mustache and dhoti on it. Cut out all the pieces.
- Features:
Next, take orange or skin coloured sheet. Draw feet, a circle for head, two small semi-circles for ears, two thin strips for arms and upper body part with neck. Cut out all the pieces.
- Upper body:
Now, its time to assemble all the cut outs. Take upper body piece and paste circle made for head with neck. Then, paste ears at the back side of head as shown.
- Lower body:
Next, paste dhoti with body and feet below dhoti.
- Detailing:
Take a very thin white strip and paste it on face for spectacles. Paste two circles and mustache on it. Then again take a strip of paper and wrap it around body for shawl. Add arms below it.
- Final touches:
Now, with help of marker make eyes. Make mouth too.
- Standing mechanism:
Next, take two ice-cream sticks and paste them at backside of the model.
- Stand
Take a small piece of thermocol. Cover it with paper. I have used green coloured one.
- Standing model:
Insert the model in the stand. Paste another ice cream stick with the hand.
- Gandhi Ji Model:
Yay! Finally your Gandhi ji model is ready. Happy Gandhi Jayanti to all.
