A crossbow is a weapon using an elastic launching device similar to a bow; it consists of a bow-like assembly, mounted horizontally on a main frame , which is hand-held in a similar fashion to the stock of a long gun. Crossbow shoot arrow-like projectiles. Crossbows are used in popular games like PUBG and also by a few superheroes! Today we will try to make a Mini CrossBow with Paper that can actually shoot paper arrows with a trigger. I hope you will enjoy this one too like my other shooting weapons made earlier like Mini cardboard shooter , Black Widow Gun, Spider man Webshooter.
How to make Mini Crossbow with paper that shoots trigger
Material Reqired:
- Waste A4 size sheets
- Rubber bands
- Glue/Fevicol
- Clip
- Glace paper for designing
- Balck velcro
- Stapler
Follow these simple DIY steps to make Mini cross bow with paper:
Time needed: 30 minutes.
DIY steps
- Preparing the front part of crossbow
Let’s start with A4 size sheet slim roll, make 6 rolls. Fold 2 rolls from the middle.
Take 3 basic rubber bands and join them to make a chain. Place one side of the rubber in between of the roll and paste the roll with fevicol. Now, insert the rubber band into the other roll and paste it well. Now, join both the rolls from the middle. Next step is take three paper rolls and give a little bend from the middle and paste them like a ladder. Your next part is ready.
- Pasting
Now paste both the parts like a “T” shape. For smooth structure take a paper which can cover the gaps of the basic structure. Now take a small roll which is slightly thick and paste it on the top of a paper crossbow.
- Shooting mechanism
Take a clip and paste on the button of the structure. Again, take a paper strip and paste it on the thicker roll and similarly do the same, paste another paper strip in between the clip which we pasted on the bottom.
- Provision to wear on hand
Take black velcro and paste all 4 sides of the paper strip so that it can be folded easily.
- Arrow making
Now make an arrow, take a paper roll and cut from top to open the mouth of the roll. Insert the paper arrow crossing the thicker roll, stretching the rubber band and get fixed in the clip.
- Decorating the crossbow
The moment you release the bow it will shoot the target. Now you can decorate your crossbow with glace paper.
